The Perfect Sabah Holiday

Kok Jian, Zie Wearn and Tiana dropped by Sabah last week for a week of fun, and believe me, it was a truly unforgettable experience. I won't describe in detail as to how we spent our whole week ( you can refer to my facebook pics with descriptions written below or you can check out Zie' or Tiana's blogs), but will instead give all you readers out there a general overview, more like a synopsis to a book or a movie.

Sabah. The land below the wind. Tourists from around the world come in search of beautiful beaches, blue skies, miles and miles of rain forests, orang utans, and of course, the local cuisine as well as the seafood. Having said that, it basically sums up what we've been doing for the past week. Let's see if we covered everything a tourist on a holiday trip to North Borneo would come to expect .

Checklist
1. Orang Utans. Check! Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre. We even went all the way to Labuk Bay for those rotten monkeys ( Proboscis ).
2. Blue Skies and beautiful beaches. Check! Pulau Manukan was awesome. Next time we'll be conquering the likes of Lankayan and of course Sipadan ( but only after y'all get your diving licenses , AND when all of us start having a reasonable/stable income. Lol. Sorry to say this, but in order to see mother nature at its best, y'all have to dish out the dough.)
3. Lush Greenery. Check! Remember the canopy walk and their extremely tall towers with the winding staircases? We saw 3 orangutans there. THREE! ( take that, Sepilok! We got ONE after standing in the sun for a good half hour..a special thank you to Kok Jian for this )
4. Food. Check! Definitely check! The three of them were really well-fed ( I hope ) during their week-long stay here. Hope that leaves a good impression on Sabah food. Haha.

Throw in some board games, a dangerous boat-ride in the midst of a storm, an embarrassing version of water-polo at the beach, Harry Potter, Karaoke sessions, late-night read-aloud stories penned by writers we're all familiar with, and a free-flow of jokes straight out of comedy central and there you have it: The Perfect Sabah Holiday.

Till next time then!

The game of quick drawing

Pictionary rocks. Pictionary is the source of entertainment of the century. Pictionary surpasses clubs, booze, maybe even Mariah Carey. Pictionary is the weed and the E that gives you that high, that intoxication when you're sober, that adrenaline rush when you're down and out, that genuine element of fun that was long lost and forgotten ever since you set foot into the world of Megan Foxes and crap assignments. Believe me when I say this, the enjoyment and satisfaction you get when you successfully beat out 10 of your opponents to roll that coveted piece of dark-blue cube a.k.a The Dice to move forward, surge ahead and break free from the rest of the herd is not some preposterous figment of this (at times twisted, I do admit) individual's tortured imagination.
Ok, I'll stop here. In other words, it is a really good game to play with friends.

To Siah: Do enjoy yourself in NUS, man. Take care, God Bless and All the Best! You're gonna have a wonderful 4 years there. Don't forget to remember me, ok? I need a place to crash in the future. Lol. See you soon.

Signing off with 2 pics. Cheers!

p.s. Kj, Zie and Tiana will be here tomorrow. Fun mode: On

ENFP

Zie, Shum and Tiana were talking about this Myers-Briggs personality test thingy on their blogs and I couldn't help myself but to try it out. I am Extroverted, Intuitive, Feeling and Perceiving (ENFP). 68% for both E and F, and 12 and 11 % for N and P respectively. Too lazy to write out the description, so just go google Myers-Briggs and go read it. I do agree with some of the points though. Apparently around 6-8 percent of Americans are of this particular type.

Hmm, morning jogs are effective. There has been a significant increase in amount of food intake ever since I started on Monday. Waking up early and having breakfast= A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE. Plus, they help you gain weight ( according to most of the online weight-gain articles). Keep it up, Timothy Lau Zer Hern! (and Siah Tiong Shie and Tan Chien Hing and hopefully Yapp Hionk Yen too).

p.s. I have now banned myself from wasting any more of my time on a crap game called Typing Maniac. Addictive, but hyper dumbo. (Sien, I'm just frustrated cause I can't even reach 200k, dammit).

Cheers.
